Shepherd of the Hills opened its doors in 1969, now celebrating 50 years in San Antonio.


Senior pastor Rev. Dr. Chris Kennedy and school pastor Douglas Bielefeldt, decommission the original chapel building from 1969, Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church and School are celebrating celebrating 50 years in San Antonio.

The original church building, which in recent years had been home to the school's library and administrative staff, was just decommissioned and will now be torn down to make room for a new multi-purpose facility.

Groundbreaking and Arial’s
